I don't know what a "Bateau Experience" entails, but it would be awesome to row around in the lake for a few minutes in one of these.

One of the titles on our schedule for the teacher institute at Fort Ticonderoga is The 1758 Campaign from the Water: Bateau Experience. A bateau is defined as "a light flat-bottomed riverboat used in eastern and central North America". These boats were used extensively during the French and Indian War, even to transport heavy artillery pieces. I don't know what a "Bateau Experience" entails, but it would be awesome to row around in the lake for a few minutes in one of these. For more about the bateau at Fort Ticonderoga, check out their blog post from May 2015 which reveals that rowing the bateau across Lake Champlain takes longer to get places...and it can be pretty frightening.
