With little space remaining on the bulletin board, and hung the timelines in a 3D fashion so they are "leaping" the poetry we put on the board the day before. With our timelines added to the bulletin board, I wanted to include some contrasting color. I quickly cut out some little orange fish to accent the blue and green of the overall board. The fish now appear as if to be leaping across our board. Simple and elegant. | |
On Wednesday, students made timelines of the future, with special emphasis on future Leap Years. I asked them to imagine where they will be and what they will be doing in 2020 (middle school), 2024 (high school), 2028 (college), and 2032 (career). It might be interesting to see how their actual futures line up with their predictions.
