What makes a World's Fair? It probably has something to do with the involvement of the world. In 1904, many nations came together to help make the exposition something special. Visitors could visit the nations of the world without leaving St. Louis. Check out some of the extravagant displays examined on this webpage: Nation Buildings.
Follow the clues in class to solve this geographical scavenger hunt. The "treasure" at the end of this hunt will reveal the nation you will present in this step of the unit.
Your team will create a simple board game based on your assigned country. You may use dice, a board, and pawns in your game. You may also make cards for a draw pile. Everything about your game must be based on your assigned country, so research is very important. 1904 Maps |
