ELLA's family is still birdwatching during our extended "wellness break". They first started reporting the news of that their Bluebird house was host to five fresh eggs a while ago, and last month, four of the eggs hatched. The new Bluebirds have since left the nest. Other birds have also frequented their place. Pictured below are (from left to right) an Indigo Bunting, a Baltimore Oriole, a Red-Breasted Grosbeak, and Carolina Chickadees. Have you spotted any colorful wildlife this spring? |
I was privileged to see 15 students represented in the pick-up line Wednesday. It was a great way to break up a day of packing the classroom for the year. Later, ELLA's family sent me some pictures of the wildlife in their yard.
