It's another engineering wonder in St. Louis. With concrete aiding the support for only the first 300 feet, the upper part of the Arch has no inner support. There is no skeleton for this stainless steel beauty.
| Just outside the northern leg is where I was when I first heard that we were going to finally add a baby to our family. The story that goes along with that statement is a pretty good one that I'm always happy to share. The grounds at this National Park are always immaculate. The nearby history church building also adds something to the setting. We enjoyed spending some time in the open air before getting to go underground to see the museum and to catch our tram to the top. |
