While we wait for the school's annual craft show in a couple of weeks, we are hard at work preparing to present tours of Hoggatt Cave. It may not look like it now, but Hoggatt Cave will make a reappearance, complete with its own geological wonders and ecosystem Bats, naturally, are a part of any decent cave, so students have been studying some basic bat facts, including taking a look at the two major divisions of the creatures - mega-chiroptera and micro-chiroptera (chiroptera being Latin for "hand-wing"). This was the first time this class has broken out the scissors and glue sticks for the year, but we'll use them for some physically harder cave assignments in the next couple of weeks.
