If we all work hard, your children will succeed. Parent, teacher, community, and child must be engaged. Because of your attendance at this week's parent conferences, our class had 100% of our students represented. Thank you! It doesn't take long to realize you want the best for your children. Keep reading every night with them. Continue to make them work on their multiplication skills at home. Have conversations with them about conduct. Make them do their paper homework when they have it. And love them with all your heart!
While I have your attention, I must thank you for all the kind words of encouragement you had for me. It strengthens my heart and makes me want to keep improving in my career as a teacher of people. When I hear that my students are coming home with vigor and tell you about our studies, I am encouraged. When I hear that they love me and talk about me (positively), I am warmed.
A wise man said, "Keep trying - it is usually the last key on the ring that opens the lock." I suppose that describes what we do as parents and teachers.
Sincerely,
Mr. Hoggatt
