Less than one month later, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and President Franklin D. Roosevelt visited Mount Vernon on January 1, 1942.
Yesterday, we commemorated the 80th anniversary of the surprise attack at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. These are the two videos we viewed to familiarize ourselves with this Day of Infamy.
Note: while the video on the left is new in 2021, the video on the right is from five years earlier.
