For a little while at the end of the week, for students who had positive behavior for last month, we pulled out the K'Nex pieces, and the class had some free time to explore how they went together. Everyone got into the activity, and some creative projects were developed. It was a bear to pick it all up at dismissal time, and I just about did not allow enough time at the end of the day to get all the connectors, rods, and wheels sorted back out and put away neatly. That should hold us for a while. The next SOARlebration will be on the last half-day of school in 2021: we will be viewing Express Polaire (That's The Polar Express in French, which is how we will be listening to the holiday classic.). |
