As long as you are in Collinsville, Illinois (You are in Collinsville, right?), you may as well locate the "World's Largest" catsup bottle. Located at the site of a former catsup bottling factory. To be clear, this really isn't a catsup bottle (or is it ketchup?); it is a defunct water tower. Therefore, the colorful roadside attraction should actually be designated as the world's largest catsup-bottle-shaped water tower. It's one more of the kitschy things that can be found along the windy Route 66, hearkening us back to simpler days. | |
