The Cecil Floyd Math League is a source of pride for our school. Students attend at least two competitions as a part of their involvement in this exclusive group.
Team members are identified from district testing in the fall, attend weekly coaching sessions, and compete in a qualifying contest after the New Year.
The contest gives participants the opportunity to qualify for the regional competition - to be held in Bolivar, Missouri - and high scorers there will be invited to the state contest.
The state math competition is held in the spring, at Columbia College, in Columbia, Missouri.

Practice, Practice, Practice
The PTA at Cecil Floyd continues to bless the Math League with its support. They write the checks that allow us to enter both of our qualifying competitions. Without their support, students would have to pay for these fees directly. Please tell the PTA that you appreciate their support!
