Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
I did not know what to expect from a 2018 summer residency at the Crystal Bridges museum in Bentonville, Arkansas.
My preparation for the week-long professional development involved more anticipation than anything else.
As a person who knows very little about art, this would be new territory for me.
The focus of the institute was more about methodology for teaching students to interpret a piece of art
to determine what it says about history and culture.
This page is a collection of all of those things - along with reports of the residency itself and subsequent field trips to the museum - in one place.
