Using simple table salt and epsom salt (and a little water), we began the process of growing crystals for the walls of Hoggatt Cave. We will watch patiently as the water evaporates, with the hope that cube- and needle-shaped crystals develop on black construction paper. This is one of the final items to do before opening our tourist cave for business. | |
