Teacher and students worked for parts of two days to memorize the list of forty-five presidents of the United States. Students went home to demonstrate their our little memory technique to their parents who had to be impressed in some cases. I'm sure our silly story sequence didn't work for everybody, but it was a fun way to spend some time during those last few days of school. Not only this, but now they are challenging each other to speed contests to see who can recite them all the quickest. One is already down to 42 seconds! Another was overheard to say, "Your adrenaline rushes when you get close to the end!" | |
