The industrial, scientific area of American Heartland is centered around a shot and drop tower called Tesla Tower. This will be a tribute to Nikola Tesla of electricity fame. The tower itself is showcased along the lakeside and will be visible from various regions of the park. I'm sure the attraction will not have lightning shooting into the sky (but wouldn't that be something!). There is great historical value that could be included into the theming of this ride. I know this is redundant, but once again, I really like the industrial ambience of the Electropolis area. While the rest of the park celebrates the beauty of our country from sea to shining sea, this section celebrates the urban areas. It is a section I would not have created for the park, but it does work to include more of the sights and sounds of the United States. |
