We announced your win to our database of hundreds of thousands of contacts a few weeks ago. We have also uploaded all of your information to our website under the National History Teacher of the Year State Winners page.
2021 National History Teacher of the Year
As 2021 History Teacher of the Year award winners...you are in the running for the 2021 National History Teacher of the Year award. The National Winner receives a $10,000 prize and a ceremony in their honor. The 10 finalists for the national award will be announced in early September and the National History Teacher of the Year will be announced in October. Both finalists and the National Winner will be notified prior to the public announcement.

Due to the current situation, we are offering a digital archive of materials to winners this year. The digital archive will consist of 2 GLI self-paced courses (of your choice) and a $50 gift certificate to the GLI History Shop. More details on the digital archive will be sent out in a few weeks.
Your certificate of recognition will be sent to your state coordinator to be presented at your state ceremony. In the next few months, your state coordinator...will be in touch to discuss the details of your state ceremony. Please note that most ceremonies take place between September and December...
