Properties React to Dark Rides

I sent a link for the Revolution dark ride (planned and completed by BROOKLYN, DOMINICK, and PARKER to the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  I also sent a link of our Mount Vernon ride (executed by ALICE, ANDREW, LANNIE, and SHAY) to George Washington's Mount Vernon in Virginia.

The Senior Manager of Education Communication and Outreach at Mount Vernon acknowledged, "This is fantastic and such a great way for students to share their research! I’m sharing with the rest of our K12 team..."  She also asked if she could share a link to the ride on their Facebook page.

The Manager of School Programs at the Museum of the American Revolution also responded.  His response is below:

...Thank you very much for sharing your students’ work with us here at the Museum.  The theme park ride was a very inventive way to allow them to demonstrate their knowledge.  We very much enjoyed seeing their hard work on this project. Viewing the video made me feel as though I had been transported back a few years ago to when I was doing stuff like this with students in my old classroom before I made the leap to museum education.  I explored your website a bit and was moved by the culture you appear to have cultivated for your students over the years, even during some particularly tragic and challenging situations that you described.  It’s always reinvigorating for me to see dedicated teachers like yourself creating opportunities for students to be their best selves and find a family within the classroom...

Incidentally, you may choose to go to a free virtual tour of the Museum of the American Revolution, introduced in a video by Michael Douglas.  This tour allows you to move through the museum galleries as though you are really there.  You can zoom in and even click on high definition images and listen to pertinent audio to learn more and more about the Revolution.
