| The landscaping at Silver Dollar City is understated and natural, just as it should be. I hope they never overdo things with the same type of topiaries that Dollywood or EPCOT display. This is one area that Silver Dollar City takes care of its theme - and doesn't overshadow it with overly-ornate tropical displays. Those things work in other parks, but not here in the Ozarks. Here, the character is in the antiques, the 1800s flavor of things, the quaint, slower pace. Leave the flair for the rollercoasters and other attractions, but let the ambience forever be simple. |
