Science takes a new turn with our study of electrical circuits. In an early challenge, student groups attempted to light a bulb using a battery and a single wire. They soon discovered that the wire can quickly become very hot. Students also found that the needle of a compass could be manipulated by moving a D-cell battery around it. We observed the structure of a light bulb and drew the components before completing the lesson. |
