| Fort Ticonderoga has an extensive collection of documents in their archives. The collection includes the journals of such figures as John Trumbull and Robert Rogers. Since one of the titles in our schedule at the Fort Ticonderoga Teacher Institute is "Working with Documents: French & Indian War Soldier Journals", the latter is a possibility - a long shot, but still possible. It will be a thrill to sit in front of the writings of some of the actual men who inhabited the fort during the French and Indian War - whether French of British - and to imagine all the things going through their minds. |  Photo Credit: Fort Ticonderoga |
