| The last school days of 2013 are behind us, never to return. While we have seen successes in our class, I am not willing to rest until we have realized more of our potential. On Friday, our class hosted two guests from Joplin High School. These young ladies, ALEXANDRA and ANGEL spent their personal time in our class, perhaps to relive their own fourth grade experiences as Hoggatteers. They assisted and interacted with students as they recalled positive memories from Christmases past. Alexandra even returned on Friday. I always enjoy seeing former students! | |
Friday was a half-day for students, so at 11:15, they hit the road to leave teachers to recover, celebrate, and record assessment data. I suppose there will be some work for me to do over the holiday break, with report cards due on the day we return, a couple of preaching engagements at local congregations, and of course family get-togethers.
