| I tested and retested the class, this year, to try to improve our ability to multiply single-digit numbers, from 0x0 to 9x9. Three Hoggatteers already earned Multiplication Master status. I hope to have every student thoroughly fluent in this area. Our class average on these quizzes currently stands at 63%. For me, it is unacceptable for any fourth grader to score below 63 out of 100 after supposedly mastering all of their facts in the third grade. As teachers, we tend to see the deficiencies, but let's take some time to celebrate the successes. It pleases me to report there are three students who have achieved mastery so far this year: JULIETTE, PAYTON, and TATE. |  |
