| Around 25 retirees from Joplin Schools had the day off yesterday for a luncheon at the Administration building. A larger-than-normal number of us are retiring from Cecil Floyd. Mrs. Francis, Mrs, Timpe, and I received engraved acrylic plaques from the school district and enjoyed a meal with Principal Bozarth and Assistant Principal Garrett. Mr. Garrett even brought us Sonic drinks to enhance our meal which was catered by Mythos. Incoming Superintendent Kerry Sachetta emceed the event. | |
