With all of the times we've written in our composition books, it's hard to believe that this is the first time we've taken a moment to share our writing with each other. I separated students into two groups and had them pair with each other to share their choice of stories and writings before finding a new partner and sharing again. The advantage to this was twofold: students got to share their writing and they got to practice reading aloud. Some students were really impressed with the abilities of their classmates, and their compliments for those others were well-received. | |
