Wow! This short video made me cry! I habe many veterans in my family. The two that I am the closest with are my daddy and my father-in-law. They are both Vietnam veterans. I have heard their stories about returning home from the war to receive no recognition from the American people. Make no mistake, to receive accolades was not their purpose for joining the military but acknowledgement of their service would have been appreciated. Several years ago, my husband and I, bouts both of them hats with "Vietnam Veteran" embroidered on them. We watched as complete strangers would come to them and give a hand-shake and a word of gratitude. These men stood a little taller on those days as did their families beside them. Thank you for posting this video, Mr. Hoggatt.
