The first group has finished designing, building, and videoing their dark ride for the World's Fair 2.0. The 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis was pretty incredible, and it celebrated, in part, the 100-year anniversary of the Corps of Discovery (otherwise known as the Lewis and Clark Expedition).
The first group decided to focus their ride's theme on the Corps of Discovery rather than one of our read-aloud books. Riders load into Ozobots to take in the scenery of this ride, which ideally would be contained in a dark building with specialized lighting and sound effects. Five other groups will continue to work on their chosen dark ride themes, during this final week of school. |
